Auronda Scalera and Dr. Alfredo Cramerotti
New Technologies curatorial duos
Auronda Scalera and Dr. Alfredo Cramerotti are among the most prominent curatorial duos working at the intersection of art and new technologies.Their practice spans major international institutions and contexts, from the Venice Biennale and Art Dubai Digital to Noor Riyadh Festival and Design AlUla Award, and is grounded in a sustained inquiry into co-creation across human, machine, and virtual dimensions.
Recent projects include Cosmotechnics: Ding Yi as a Planetary Code at Fondazione Querini Stampalia, during the Venice Biennale 2026; Body Machine (Meridians) with Sougwen Chung at Palazzo Citterio, Milan; and 404_LAND: territory not found, a virtual exhibition produced by HEK Basel with the Tezos Foundation during Art Basel.
Alongside their curatorial work, Scalera and Cramerotti hold teaching positions at Kingston University London and IESA Paris, and maintain collaboration with The Alan Turing Institute’s AI & Arts Group and Oxford University’s AI & Education Research Group. They have been invited at the World Economic Forum at AI House, the House of Lords, Harvard University, and the United Nations.
